U14 - Minis - BBC East Side Pirates
Kordall Steelers controlled this M-U14 Division 4 game from the opening minutes and won 107-31 at Wasserbillig, moving up to 4th place while BBC East Side Pirates B stayed 6th and slipped to a fourth straight defeat.
Coach Arnaud Stéphane Sirjean's team set the tone immediately with a 14-0 start, then stretched it to 26-0 before BBC East Side Pirates B got on the board. The first quarter was already decisive at 34-3. KDS kept the same pressure in the second period, going into the break with a 59-8 lead.
The third quarter was the most competitive passage. BBC East Side Pirates B found more rhythm there, winning that spell almost even, 20-21, mainly through Naila McDaniel (BEPB), age 13, and Olivier Feltz Elcheroth (BEPB), who combined for 19 points. McDaniel finished with 10, Feltz Elcheroth added 9, and Ben Pol Mike Szymczak (Season PPG: 2.50) scored 5.
KDS had several strong offensive stretches. Adham Asfarelouldidi (KDS) led all scorers with 35 points, even though he committed two fouls in a row in the second quarter and later fouled out with five personals. Ruben José Teixeira Rodrigues (KDS) added 22, while Leo Neves (KDS) and Jules Messmer (KDS) each scored 18. Santiago Macario Rodrigues (KDS) contributed 4 early points during the first-quarter surge.
The last quarter became another one-sided stretch, with KDS closing on a 20-0 run from 87-31 to 107-31. Neither team made a three-pointer. Kordall also came in on a positive trend, turning an earlier two-game losing run into back-to-back wins.
