U16 - Scolaires - Black Star Mersch
Black Star Mersch won 90-41 at Kordall Steelers in this M-U16 Division 4 Phase 1 game, and the game flow was one-sided very early. Third-placed BSM stayed in 3rd position, while KDS moved up to 4th despite the defeat.
Coach Aleksandar Petrovic's team built the margin quickly. BSM opened 8-2, then moved to 13-4 with Romario De Oliveira Pais (BSM) already on a roll. KDS stayed in touch only briefly through Jayson Otiu (KDS) and Arthur Bonbled (KDS), but BSM closed the first quarter at 26-8. The second quarter had KDS moments at 24-39, yet that was the key stretch: BSM finished the half with a 14-0 run to reach 53-25.
The third quarter removed any suspense. BSM started it with 12 straight points for a 65-25 lead before coach Julien Bordonne stopped the game with a timeout. KDS answered in short sequences through Otiu (KDS), Ryan Da Silva (KDS), Ishan Sarda (KDS) and Charles Pelt (KDS), but the gap was still 72-36 after three. Early in the fourth, BSM added another 10-1 burst and pushed the highest lead to 49 points by the final score.
BSM had four main scorers in double figures: Matthew Jacob Libang (BSM) with 20, Hanan Ahmic (BSM) with 18, De Oliveira Pais (BSM) with 16 and Luca Camaioni Hary (BSM) with 12. Libang scored all his points from two-point baskets. For KDS, Otiu (KDS) produced 17 points and kept attacking despite four fouls, while Da Silva (KDS) added 8.
