U14 - Minis - US Heffingen

Kordall Steelers, 2nd after this round, produced a one-sided home win over 3rd-placed US Heffingen, 115-25, and extended their run to three straight victories. Both teams gained two places in the classification, but KDS quickly showed a different rhythm.

The game was largely decided in the opening stretch. KDS opened with a 24-0 run and led 32-3 after the first quarter. Their pressure and repeated finishes near the basket never really slowed in the first half, as the gap grew to 64-7 at the break. The third quarter was Heffingen's most productive spell offensively with 10 points, yet KDS still won that period 29-10 and carried the margin above 70. The highest lead reached 94 points at 113-19 in the fourth quarter.

Adham Asfarelouldidi (KDS) and the 10-year-old Ryan Wakam Kamogne (KDS) were the main engines. Asfarelouldidi scored 31 points, with a long sequence of interior baskets across the first two quarters, while Wakam Kamogne added 30 and helped set the tone during the first 10 minutes. Leo Neves (KDS) added 19, including strong work in the second half, and Jules Messmer (KDS) gave effective support with 12.

For Heffingen, Leonardo Truffo (Season PPG: 4.20) and Pierre Schlammes (Season PPG: 7.00) shared team-high honors with 7 points each. Truffo scored Heffingen's first field goal late in the first quarter and remained active throughout, while Schlammes hit the team's only three-pointer in the fourth. Oscar Michely (HEF) and Jules Antony (HEF) added 4 points apiece.

There were no fouled-out players. Coach Arnaud Stéphane Sirjean saw his side control the pace from the start, while coach André Gruskovnjak at least got a better offensive response from Heffingen after halftime.
