U16 - Scolaires - Nitia Bettembourg

Nitia Bettembourg took control very early and left Niederkorn with a clear 105-37 win over Kordall Steelers in Phase 1. The result sends NIT to 1st place after a two-position gain, while KDS stays 4th.

The game was largely decided in the opening period. After a brief 2-6 score, Jérôme Defer's team produced a 27-0 run to close the first quarter at 33-5. That sequence set the tone: fast scoring, constant pressure and several different contributors. Kordall settled a little better in the second quarter, but NIT still reached the break with a 51-17 advantage.

Any hope of a tighter second half disappeared in the third quarter. From 19-55, NIT added 12 unanswered points and stretched the gap to 19-67, then kept pushing to 84-26 after three quarters. The margin peaked at 69 points late in the fourth.

The main attacking figures for NIT were captain Ewen Man-Fei Leung (NIT) with 26 points, Yohannes Thomas Michael (NIT) with 25 and Adrian Ion Zianveni (NIT) with 21. Michael was especially strong in the first half, while Zianveni mixed inside scoring with two three-pointers and a free throw. Diogo Barbosa Conte (NIT) added 8, Matia Eduardo Lumbu (NIT) 7 and Dinis Jorge Cruz Rica (NIT) 6, showing the away side's depth.

For KDS, Rishit Bhandari (KDS) scored 10, captain Jayson Otiu (KDS) had 8, and Charles Pelt (KDS) plus Ryan Da Silva (KDS) finished with 6 each. Ruben José Teixeira Rodrigues (KDS) brought 4 points and Arthur Bonbled (KDS) 3. Da Silva also had four personal fouls, reflecting how much defensive work Kordall had to do.
